She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Elswick and Mary Tackett Elswick; her daughter Sabrina Leigh Johnson; and her siblings, Larry Elswick, Phillip Elswick and Avonelle McKinster.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Lee Johnson; her children, Keith Johnson (Tammy) of Virgie and Hope Coleman (Ellis) of Fords Branch; her siblings, Lloyd Elswick of Virgie, Roger Elswick of Columbus, OH, Clifford Elswick of Columbus, OH, Adel Hall of Marion, OH, Bessie Garten of Orlando, FL and Brenda Coleman of Shelbiana; and her grandchildren, Katie Shewmake, Andrew Wayne Coleman, Colton Johnson, Kaleb Johnson, Brittany Meek, Breauna Sparks, Josh Sparks and Jaiden Sparks. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
