He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Robinson Tackett; his son Brad Tackett (Ashley) of Pikeville; his siblings, Roger Lee Tackett (Debra) of Pikeville and Judy Kiser of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Jacie, Taneisha and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Haisley and Harden; his brother Johnny; and his sister-in-law Donna Denison.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
