She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Mercer and Ruth Deboard Mercer; her husband Greene Maynard; and her nephew Todd Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, J. R. Huffman (Chrystal) of Richmond and Joseph Huffman (Suzanne Worrix) of Pikeville; her siblings, Debbie Hall (Gary) of Penny Road and James Mercer (Jan) of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Jarred Case and Carrigan Case; and her nieces and nephews, Telissa Compton, Aubrey Frazier, Katie Taylor, Kynlee Taylor, Kolton Taylor, Courtney Derossett, Matt Mercer and Zach Taylor.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
