It is with sadness that the passing of John Lee Howie (Virgie, Kentucky) is shared. John Lee, born on January 17, 1952, passed away on June 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Virgil Mitchell Howie and Evelyn Madge McCraw Howie; and his brother Don Houston Howie. He is survived by: his wife Emma Sue Jones (Dishman); his sons, Jackson Lee Howie, Noah Scout Howie, Sean Jones (Chelsey) and Miles Jones; his grandchildren, Jaz, Michaela and Zoey; his sisters, Helen Clark (Gary), Sarah Boxley (Grant), Tricia Kessler (Robert) and Carol; his sister-in-law Aletha; and his brothers, David (Niki) and Mitch (Debra). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
