He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Bowling and Dollie Little Bowling; his wife Eva Bowling (Nadine); his son James Bowling; and his brother Robert Bentley.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Bowling of Detroit, MI, Meredith Bowling Jr. of Marshall, MI and Leann Jennings of Orlando, FL; and his sister Mellie Ervin of Adrian, MI. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
