He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hobson and Drucie Branham Hobson. He is survived by: his children, Colby Hobson (Chasity) of Virgie, Heather Hobson of Virgie and Ashley Branham of Lexington; his siblings, Randy Hobson of Winchester, Lynn Hobson of Ohio, Bonnie Justice of Ohio and Betty Adkins of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Caylee, Cameron, Lilly and Brenden.
