He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Tackett and Martha Jo Tackett; his grandson Leon Tackett; and his brother Reggie Tackett. He is survived by: his wife Jo Etta Tackett; his sons, Joe Tackett (Sancha) of Dorton, Frankie Tackett of Virgie and Chris Tackett (Miranda) of Virgie; his siblings, Rodney Tackett (Lavonne) of Virgie, Rickey Tackett (Molly) of Virgie, Robbie Tackett (Cindy) of Virgie, Kevin Tackett (Lisa) of Virgie, Kyle Tackett of Virgie and Sharon Barr of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Josiah, Elaina, Meeka, Krisandra, Cali, Jerzee, Kason and London.
