He was predeceased by: his parents, Derwood Bruner and Myrtle Frances Perry Bruner; and his siblings, Herbert Bruner, Stanley Bruner, Gayle Bruner, Austin Bruner, Lloyd Bruner, Christine Nation, Doris Bruner, Rosie Bruner, Shirley Mitchell and Barbara Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Perry Bruner; his daughters, Melissa Shouse (Michael Kinman) and Stephanie Warford (Dwayne); his sister Sadie Hill; his grandchildren, Jessica Largen (Clayton) and Dustin Warford; and his great grandchildren, Bristol, Addyson, Kinsley, Emersyn, Harvest, Rowdy Davis, Keaton, Gracelyn and Hartlynn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor-Collins Funeral Home of Shelbyville Wednesday (1185 West Main Street Shelbyville, KY 40065). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hall-Taylor-Collins Funeral Home of Shelbyville Thursday (1185 West Main Street Shelbyville, KY 40065).
