Homer Hurst Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Hurst Sr. of Wallingford, Kentucky, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hurst and Violet Hickerson Hurst; and his brothers, Gene Hurst and Donnie Hurst. He is survived by: his children, Judy Crowder (Dennis), Roger Hurst (Judy), Homer Hurst Jr. (Markey) and Amanda McCord; his sister Joyce McCann; and his friend Mary Hopper. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home (150 W Water St, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
