With solemn reverence, we commemorate Nick Lynn Duncan of Wallins, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on June 28, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William (Junior); his brother Robert Duncan (Sheriff); his son Tommy Woodard; his parents-in-law, Sybil Forrester and Hubert Forrester; and his close friends, Rick Long, Stacey Howard and Paul Donnie Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Forrester Duncan; his daughters, Rachel (Jami Brock) and Tisha Ball (Ronnie Galyon); his grandchildren, Tilar (Hailee Ball), Marine (Dylan Nicholas Brock), Abagail Brock and Branden Brock; his mother Viva Farmer Duncan (Mayor); his siblings, William Junebug Duncan (Arizonia), Don Duncan (Loretta), Raymond Duncan, Bonita Duncan, Opal Duncan and Nancy Aubery; his sister-in-law Donna Duncan; and his close friends, Ted Calloway and Joe Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Harlan Funeral Home (202 S Cumberland Ave, Harlan, KY 40831). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Greg and Noreen Wells Bluegrass Hospice Center at 101 Dennis Sandlin MD, Cove, Hazard, KY 41701.
