He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Steve Tackett and Donald McIntyre; and his great-grandparents, Margaret Nienabor, Marjorie, Mike Shipman, Lillie, Jim Sims, Jiggs Scudder and Raymond Maxwell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hannah Messmer and Tyler Hammock of Joshua David; and his grandparents, Betty, Bill Scudder, Vera Gripshover, Mick Maxwell, Barbara Tackett, Louise, Robert Messmer, Sr. and Lucille McIntyre. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many close friends.
