He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Perkins (Sinclair); his parents, Charles Perkins and Clara Perkins (Limerick); and his sisters, Charlotte Tashiro and Alice Osterbrook.

He is survived by: his children, Charles Perkins of Florence, KY, Jennifer Kouns (Robert) of Union, KY and Heather Woeste of Union, KY; and his grandchildren, Mckenzie Kouns, Emma Kouns, Emily Woeste and Andrew Woeste.
