It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Russell Payton of Walton, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edward Payton and Mildred Louise Justice Payton; his brother Paul Payton; and his nephew Eric Payton. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Robinson Payton; his children, Adam David Payton (Abigail) of Austin, TX and Mary Elizabeth Sorrell (Jason) of Warsaw; his siblings, Wayne Payton (Debbie) of Louisville, Danny Payton (Paula) of Pendleton, Jerry Payton (Terri) of Riverview, FL and Pamela Scott (Lee) of Sellersburg, IN; and his grandchildren, Ryan Sorrell, Isla Sorrell, Toby Payton, Gus Payton and Ryleigh Payton.
