He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Coffey Acuff; and his children, Karen Acuff, Kim Childress, Jennifer Lay, James Jeffrey "Jeff" Acuff (Becky), Jacob Carson Acuff and Jay Anthony Acuff (Krista). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
