He was predeceased by: his parents, Siverio Ramírez and Cristina Cervantes; his wife Agripina Vega; his son Adolfo Ramírez; and his son-in-law Melitón Tamayo.
He is survived by: his children, María, Evangelina Ramírez Vega (Oscar O.), Guillermo Ramírez Vega (Emma Palomo), Félix Ramírez Vega (Nunila Ramírez) and José Ramírez Vega (Silvia Paredes); his daughter-in-law María Luisa Montoya; and his siblings, José Ramírez, Ángel Ramírez, Salvador Ramírez, David Ramírez, Eladio Ramírez and María Félix Ramírez. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
