He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Simpson and Hannah Brock Simpson; his wife Goldie Mae Simpson; and his brother Charlie Simpson. He is survived by: his daughter Rita Simpson Sandlin (Michael); his brothers, Corbett Simpson (Vickie) and Jimmie Simpson (Vicky); his sister-in-law Faye Simpson; and his grandchildren, Katie Quillon (Chris) and Jalon Sandlin.
