He is survived by : his wife Brenda Joyce Thomas Koons; his daughters, Holly Hightchew (Robert Hightchew) of Warsaw and Mendy Hill (Les Hill) of Burlington, Kentucky; his siblings, Robert Koons of Indiana, Randall Koons of Indiana, Renny Koons of Indiana, Rex Koons of Florida, Betty Hunt of Indiana and Bert Young of Indiana; his grandchildren, Tyler Hill, Andrew Hill, Caleb Hightchew, Abby Hightchew and Becca Hightchew; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Hill, Reagan Hill and Marshall Hill.
