He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McMillen and Viola McMillen; his wife Sherry Lane McMillen (Mothershead); his siblings, R. T., Mike, William, Joe McMillen and Beverly Machnicke; and his siblings-in-law, Max Machnicke, Charles Newton and Helen McMillen.
He is survived by: his sons, Glenn McMillen and Terry McMillen (Kristen); his grandsons, Kaden and Wesley McMillen; his sister Regina Newton; and his sister-in-law Joyce McMillen. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (155 Stringer Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the monks of the Abbey of Gethsemani for masses to be offered in Max's memory or to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
