She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Clarence and Hazel (Kendall) Fleetwood; spouse: Vaughn Allen Perkins; daughters: Jana McKown, Karen Mattingly (Steve) and Kathy Moody (Tim); son: Rick Perkins (Ann); niece: Jackie Yates; grandchildren: Matt Moody (Tiffany), Brooke Prince (Jason), Ashley Lewis (Ryan), Lindsay Mattingly, Holly Greenwell (Eli), Kelsey Fowlkes (Alex), Sampson McKown, and Elizabeth Perkins (Tony); and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goodwin-Sievers Family Funeral Home - Washington (2020 State St, Washington, IN 47501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home (2020 State St, Washington, IN 47501).
The Perkins family has requested memorial contributions be made to Daviess County Friends for Animals in Shirley's name.
