With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Patrick Cropper Jr. (Washington, Kentucky), born in Maysville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2025 at the age of 83. As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Cropper Sr. and Mary Estill Cropper; and his nephew Mike Campisano. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Campisano (Sam), Helen Prather (Jerry), Leo Cropper (Ingrid), Andy Cropper (Patti), Karen Scales (Doug) and Barbara Brown (Chuck); and his former wife Wanda. He is also survived by 10 nieces, 4 nephews, 13 great-nieces, 17 great-nephews, 1 great-great-niece, and 2 great-great-nephews.
