He is survived by: his children, Scott Wheatley (Michelle) of Phoenix, AZ, Samantha Jenkins (Scott) of Smithville, MS, Joe Wheatley (Melissa) of Louisville, KY, Eddie Wheatley (Laura) of Uniontown, KY and John Wheatley (Glenn) of Friday Harbor, WA.; his grandchildren, Rachel Martinez (Zack), Jack Wheatley (Olivia), Jillian Wheatley, Max Wheatley, Mitchell Jenkins (Lauren), Mason Jenkins (Madison), Madilyn Williams (Cole), Madison Wheatley (Jake Mitchell), Parker Wheatley, Carsyn Wheatley, Audrey Girten (Quaid), Caroline Tapp (Jacob), Anna Wheatley, Olivia Wheatley (Buddy Thomas), Waylon Wheatley and Claudia Wheatley8; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Stella Girten, Layla Tapp, Wally, Wesley, Whitney Jenkins and Annie Williams.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Whitsell Funeral Home - Morganfield (250 N Court St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Church (201 E Market St, Waverly, KY 42462).
