He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Alvey; and his siblings, Eugenia Alvey and Lowell Alvey. He is survived by: his son Wesley Alvey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (39 A B Ward Rd, Sonora, KY 42776).
