He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Taylor and Alean Dugger Taylor; his wife Brenda Sue Long Taylor; and his siblings, Barbara Young, Phyllis Floyd, Velma Messenger and David Taylor.
He is survived by: his son Richard Taylor of Waynesburg; his siblings, Eugene Taylor of Stanford, Vena Long of Hustonville and Sarah Floyd (Frank) of Inez; his caregiver Joyce Mitchell of Waynesburg; and his close friend Robert Floyd (Wanetta Gibson) of Waynesburg.
