He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skaggs and Monnie Ward Skaggs; his wife Marguerite Blair Skaggs; his half-siblings, Nile, Woodrow, Homer, Hargas, Anna, Dixie and Peggy; and his nephew Ronnie Bentley.
He is survived by: his sons, Don Skaggs (Arenja) of Lexington and John Skaggs (Marti) of Webbville, Kentucky. He is also survived by friends and pets.
