He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Taylor Woods and Pleas Woods; and his wife Lillian Marlene Herbst Woods. He is survived by: his children, Suzanna Hardesty of Guston, KY, Janie Rone (Tony) of Webster, Del Woods (Laura) of Custer, KY, Betty Duff (David) of Fredericksburg, IN and Cathy Hansard (Dennis) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Delbert, Shannon, Crystal, Timothydel, Julianne and Johnny; and his great grandchildren, Harley, Serenity, Lillian, Michael, Ian, Savannah, Wrenley and Emberlyn. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring St, Irvington, KY 40146).
