He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gibson and Dorothy Helen Adkisson Bell; his brother Floyd; his sister-in-law Ann Bell; his sister Loretta; his brother-in-law Fred Neff; his brother Harold Bell; Hobert and Lula Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Bennett; his daughters, Deborah Anders (Michael) of Elizabethtown, Melissa Robinson (Michael) of Brandenburg and Rhonda Laslie (Stephen) of Brandenburg; his grandchildren, Roni Robinson, Drew Ard (Thomas), Tyler Robinson (Hollie), Dylan Crawford, Joshua Laslie (Kaylee) and Lauren Laslie; his great grandchild Oliver Ard; and his siblings, Mary Emma Bell, Larry Bell (Connie), Delois Bell and William Bell (Elaine). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alexander Funeral Home (509 Spring St, Irvington, KY 40146). A prayer will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM.
