He was predeceased by: his parents, Percival Claycomb and Clara Pauline Frymire; and his brothers, Lloyd Claycomb, Glover Claycomb and Charles Claycomb.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta Butler Claycomb; his children, Angie Parks of Webster and Amos Claycomb of Webster; his grandchildren, Tonya Wilson (John) of Elizabethtown, KY, Brandon Parks of Webster and Thomas Claycomb (Lydia) of Webster; and his siblings, Lila Schrenger of Louisville, KY, Daniel Claycomb of Louisville and George Claycomb of Brandenburg, KY.. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
