He was predeceased by: his parents, Waneta Maye Johnson Murphy and Monroe Madison Murphy; and his wife Zoia "Jo" Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Dale Murphy (Freda) of Denniston, KY., Denita Neville (Matt) of Frisco, TX and Kristy Murphy (Billy Williams) of Wellington, KY.; his grandchildren, Cassondra Williams (Benny), Tori Hilkens (Matt), Joseph Murphy (Ashton Jones), Chase Williams (Ashton) and Brady Burberry (Kerstyn); his great grandchildren, Everett Palazzo, Stratton Williams and Harper Hilkens; his grandchildren, Sarah Neville, Daniel Neville and Gage Williams; his great grandchildren, Cayson Williams and Beau Hardy Williams; and his brothers, Carter Murphy, Logan Murphy (LG) and Harold Murphy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Menifee Home For Funerals (P. O. Box 98 847 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
