We announce the death of Roger L. Stigall Sr. of Wellington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stigall and E. Mae Stigall (Surber); his sons, Anthony Stigall and Roger Stigall, Jr.; and his brothers, Charles Stigall and Larry Stigall.
He is survived by: his wife Julia "Judy" Stigall (Vestal); his children, Carolyn Crabtree (Alan), Sheryl Smith, Monica Letzlaff and Robert Louden (Cendie); and his brother Earl Stigall (Heidi). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rose City Funeral Home (2011 Broad St, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 926 Hwy 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322, in support of their television ministry.
