He was predeceased by: his parents, Medford Adkins and Ella Mabry Adkins; and his brothers, Dewey Medford Adkins, Roger Adkins and Earl Ray Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Berneaze Adkins; his son William David Adkins; his siblings, Norma Fay Salyers (Amos), Mary Hammonds, Rebecca Williams (Danny), Gary Adkins and Ronnie Adkins; and his sister-in-law Dolly Blankenship (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, & friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (329 Glenn Ave, West Liberty, KY 41472). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
