He is survived by: his wife Ival Brooks Syfert; his children, Tyra Helton Day, Phil of Lebanon, OH and Joey Helton of Mount Sterling, KY; his grandsons, Harley Helton of Ezel, KY, Kraig Helton and Renda of Frenchburg, KY; and his great grandchildren, Addie Helton and Arlo Helton.
