He was predeceased by: his father Dan Cantrell; and his pet Sadie. He is survived by: his mother Sara Montgomery Cantrell; his significant other Larna Setser; his children, Elizabeth Hall, Kenneth Wade (Keisha Cantrell), Nicky Lee (Audrey Cantrell), Keisha (Cody Slone) and Randy Kurtis (Madison Cantrell); and his adoptive children, Beth, Jamie Stapleton MacCourt, Lora, Bryan Montgomery, Margie, Jeremy Kirk, Sam and Deanna Porter.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home (367 Main St, West Liberty, KY 41472). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
