He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenus Franklin and Anna Lykins Franklin; and his siblings, Dorsie Franklin (Marie), James Franklin (Nell), Mae Trusty (Jack) and Jewel Eidemiller (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Franklin; his sons, Leonard D. Franklin of Lawrenceburg, KY and Tim Franklin (Shella) of Lexington, KY; his grandson Ethan Paul Franklin (Emily) of Boston, MA; his stepgrandsons, Travis Salmons and Warren Salmons; and his granddaughter Natasha Pirman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (329 Glenn Ave, West Liberty, KY 41472). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
