He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dennis Hargis and Thelma Hargis (Brooks); and his sister Doris Helton. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Hargis (Sheible); his children, Donald L. Hargis (Milly) of Mayfield and Sara L. Peeler (Jimmy) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Wes Sullenger (Tonya), Jacob Hargis (Angie), Alicia Hargis (Joel Katzenberger) and Cody Peeler (Shery); and his great grandchildren, Sage, Sayer, Bowie and Elijah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
