He is survived by: his wife Judy Lanier Benton; his sons, Gary Wayne Benton (Jackie) of Jackson, TN and Rex Allen Benton of Murray, KY.; his grandchild Shelby Leigh Outlaw (Matt) of Bells, TN; his sister Carolyn Ann Keith; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Benton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and other family members.
