He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Murray Wood and Jennie "Fannie" Frances Gibson Wood; and his sister Ruth Wood. He is survived by: his wife Gaytha Wood of West Paducah; his children, Leslie McCowan of Paducah, Tara Holstein (Thomas) of Paducah and Mark Wood (Allison) of Paducah; and his grandchildren, Katie Hostein, Sarai Hostein, Kelsie Plumley, Haili Hostein and Tyler Wood. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
