She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph James; her parents, Columbus Crader and Cora Crader; her granddaughter Jessica James; her son Joe James (Judy); and her close friend Louise Booher.

She is survived by : her children, Janet Jeffers and John James; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Hill (Terry), Jackie Osborne (Dennis) and JoAnna Owen (Bryan).
