He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Slaughter and Earline Slaughter (Hardy); his wife Rose Mary Slaughter; his granddaughter Chelsea Clark; and his brother Jack Slaughter.

He is survived by : his children, Tom Clark (Vickie), Lauri Clark Carrico (Patrick), Mark Slaughter (Kelley) and John Slaughter (Luba); and his brother Gary Slaughter (Susan).

Memorial donations can be made in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
