It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sammy Joseph Garlinger of Westview, Kentucky, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Garlinger and Doris McNalley Garlinger; his son Gregory Garlinger; and his grandsons, Grayson Bogard and Dante Renfro.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Hayes Garlinger of Westview; his children, Casey Hinton of Hardinsburg, Cody Garlinger (Shawnee) of Hardinsburg, Pixie Garlinger of Westview, Rebecca Martinez of Westview, Gabriella Martinez of Westview, Bryanna Martinez of Westview and Gabrielle Renfro (Ray) of Millwood; and his brothers, Edward "Bubby" Garlinger of Westview and Charles "Ninny" Garlinger of Custer, KY.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
