He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl and Emma Jane Collins; and his wife Jane. He is survived by: his son C. W. Collins of Wheatcroft; his brother Donnie "Bimbo" Collins of Evansville; his nephew Cory Collins (Amanda) of Earlington; his great-nephew Micah; and his great-niece Mia.
