She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Stone and Clara Stone; her husband Brackett Hinton; her children, Sherry Cowan and Charles "Bub" Hinton; her grandchildren, Donna Oldham, Jake Lykins and Jeff Hinton; and her stepson Jim Hinton.
She is survived by: her son Bob Hinton (Sandy) of Clay; her stepdaughter Lou Fowler of Wheatcroft; her sisters, Joy Oldham of Wheatcroft and Mattie Belle Sigler of Morganfield; and her grandchildren, Amy Wright Erica (Chad), Joseph Hinton (Kim), Robin Tharp (Chris), Brian Hinton, Denise Beach, Michael Fowler and Chris Hinton. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vanover Funeral Home (9000 KY-132, Clay, KY 42404). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Rocksprings Cemetery.
