He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Tackett and Maureen Damron Tackett of Wheelwright. He is survived by: his wife Beth Tackett; his children, Wesley Tackett (Hannah) of Wheelwright and Brooke Bess (Rocky) of Richmond; his siblings, Eddie Tackett (Jamie) of Douglas, Matthew Tackett (LeeAnn) of Bypro and Jerri Ann Burke (Raymond) of Bevinsville; and his grandchildren, McKinley, Jaxon, Hayden, Liam, Karsyn, Emma and Tristan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home (1101 KY-610, Virgie, KY 41572). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
