He was predeceased by : his parents, Clay Henson and Rosa Mae Marshall Henson; and his brothers, Ralph Henson, Raleigh Henson and Ray Henson.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Sue Bellamy Henson of Whick, KY.; his sons, Artineus Henson (Susan) of Morehead, KY and Carlos Henson (Loretta) of Lexington, KY.; his grandchildren, Jack Henson, Cierra Henson of Ezel, KY, Katelyn Campbell and Ben Gambill of Hazard, KY; and his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Adkins, Nikki Adkins, Dakota Maines, Jonathon Maines, Khloe Lewis and Kendall Lewis. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
