With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ada Marie Skees of White Mills, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Floyd and Ida Floyd; her husband Mitchell Skees Jr.; her children, Josh, Joey, Mickey Skees and Bonnie Sue; and her siblings, Ralph Floyd, Clyde Floyd and Carolyn Sue Skees.
She is survived by: her children, Justin Skees of Flint Hill, Wayne Skees of White Mills, Donnie Skees (Mary Ann) of Sonora, Gary Skees (Turetta) of Clarkson, Jerry Skees of White Mills, Jason Skees (Melissa) of White Mills, Diane Fields of Millerstown, Pam Skees of Etown, Belinda Knight (Ronnie) of Etown, Barbara Sadler (Jamie) of Leitchfield and Jamie Skees of White Mills; and her grandchildren, Reagan, Haley, Chase, Dana, Joe, Jessica, Adam, Jarrett, Briana, Landon, Bradley, Josh, Cassandra, Robert, Dalton, Abby, Maddy, Alyssa, Addison and Mason.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church (2516 Center Point Rd, Sonora, KY 42776).
