In loving memory of Walter Eugene Lear of White Plains, Kentucky, who departed this world on May 11, 2024 at the age of 83. Walter leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Lear and Maggie Lear (Smith); and his siblings, Louise Lear, William "Billy" Lear, Kenneth Lear and Jimmy Lear.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Scott Lear; his daughters, Misty Rager (Scotty) and Julia Lear; his grandchildren, Morgan Pierce (Jimmy), Mallory Gee (John), Cody Mattingly (Brittany) and Zachary Mattingly (Heather); his great grandchildren, Jayzn, Hayden, Laken, Layla, Livi, Azlynn, Kellin, Maylie, Krew and Isabella; and his brothers, Dannie Lear, Jerry Lear (Faye) and Alton Lear (Anita).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Bandy Funeral Home (18 N Main St, Nortonville, KY 42442). A masonic service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
