It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Betts (Whitesburg, Kentucky), who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Betts and Eva Stoddard Smith; and his sisters, Dawn Huff and Marlene Joann Zamora. He is survived by : his siblings, Leonard Betts of Cowan, Mark Betts of Morehead, Gene Hedlund of Oregon, Paula Gatewood of Medford, Dannyelle Smith of Lexington, Kathy Lucas of Cowan, Jenene Goncher of Oregon and Laurie Danials; and his close friends, Taylor Heron and Paul McIntosh.
