She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bill Sumpter and Mary Emilene Herron Sumpter; her husband Raymond McCool; her children, Raymond Lewis McCool and Hazel Mary Ilene Eldridge; and her siblings, Sterlin Sumpter, Ray Sumpter, Roy Sumpter, Ballard Sumpter, David Sumpter, Doc Sumpter, Ellis Sumpter, Timothy Sumpter, Juanita, Thelma, Fairy, Mable and Sandy.
She is survived by: her children, William Jay McCool (Taffie) of Cornetsville, Bobby Wayne McCool (Debbie) of Van Lear, Sandra Darlene Campbell (Artemus) of Hallie and Delana Sue Caudill (Tommy) of Viper; her son-in-law Delbert Eldridge; her sisters, Phyliss of Tennessee, Susan Boaden of Tennessee and Billie Sumpter of Tennessee; and her nieces and nephews, Tommy McCool, Bob Sumpter, Leo Scott, Helen Tolliver and Stephanie Gibson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
