He was predeceased by: his parents, Mallie Gibson and Lula Amburgey Gibson; and his sister Glenda Fleming. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Holland Gibson; his children, Jeremy Gibson (Angel), Tamara Eldridge (Johnny), Jessica Bates, Kimberly Gibson (Mark), Jennifer Cantrell, Latisha Gibson, Jody Gibson and Skylar Seals (Caden); and his siblings, Ricky Gibson, Chester Ray Gibson (Tina), Vickie Slone, Donna Banks (Billy) and Libby Amburgey (Bobby). He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren; A Host of Beloved Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lighthouse Community Church (6266 S State Hwy 931, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
