He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Daniel Cook and Shirley Bailey Cook; his sons, Michael Austin Cook of Whitesburg and Timothy Kaden Cook of Whitesburg; and his brother Chris Cook of Sandlick.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
