He is survived by: his wife Beryl Preston Brown; his children, Dale Brown (Melissa) and Connie Sturgill (Carlos); his sisters, Vera Adams, Barbara Collins, Shelia Cornett, Brenda Sumners, Shirley Belcher and Vonda Cook; and his grandchildren, Destiny Hall (Shane), Carla Sturgill and Dale.
